Teacher and Teacher-in-Training Support AwardsRetooling – Retraining – Research - Violin – Viola – Violoncello – Bass Deadlines
The Foundation for the Advancement of String Education, Inc. is a non profit organization. Part of the mission of FASE, Inc. is to provide financial support to teachers or teachers-in-training for retooling, retraining or research. Applicants must be currently active in classroom or one-on-one teaching, or returning to or retraining for a career in string education. How to ApplySubmit a one-page letter of application that outlines specifically the timeframe (beginning and ending dates) and how the funds will be used. Please be specific. Priority is given to those applicant proposals that are concerned with classroom string teaching, research projects in string education, hosting or attending teacher training workshops, or training, retraining or retooling for a teaching career. Include with the Letter of Application
The Board of Directors or designated awards review committee reserves the sole right to review, deny/award financial support and set the award amount based on the application and attachments. Applicants may be asked to provide additional information. Awardees will be asked to submit a final report within 30 days of completion of project. In the case of awards over $1500, awardees may be asked to make a report/presentation in person to the Officers and/or Board of Directors of FASE, Inc.
