Brianna Goldberg

Our featured artist this year is string bass player Brianna Goldberg. She is from Van Nuys, California and is presently the principle bassist of the NEC Youth Philharmonic Orchestra under conductor, Ben Zander. She is also the rotating principle of the New England Conservatory Symphony Orchestra. Brianna began her studies at age 10 with Susan Thiroux. She later studied with Francis Senger, Dennis Trembly, Charles DeRamus and David Moore. She currently studies with Donald Palma at the New England Conservatory and anticipates receiving her Bachelor of Music degree in Double Bass Performance in December 2006.
