Dear Musician Camper:

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Bay State String Camp. The dates of the camp are Saturday, June 30 – Saturday, July 7, 2007. Please plan to arrive before 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be served at 12 noon for the campers. Prior to lunch, you will have at least one hour to unpack, meet your counselor and cabinmates, take your Swimming Assessment test and explore the camp.

Camp will end on Saturday, July 7th. Parents, family and friends are invited to a concert given by the campers at 10:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to stay for the lunch (Bar B Q) prepared by our excellent Food Staff. Non-camper lunches are $8.00 per adult and $3.00 per child. Lunch for campers is already included in the tuition fee. Non-camper lunches MUST be reserved and paid for NO LATER than Saturday, June 30th. Check-out time will begin at 11:00 a.m. on July 7. All campers should be checked out by 1 p.m.

Enclosed you will find medical forms which need to be filled out and signed by your family physician. A computer form from the doctor is also acceptable. By law, your child cannot be admitted to the camp without these forms. You will also find a form from which you may order Bay State String Camp T-shirts. The cost is $10.00 per shirt. Please return both forms as soon as possible. In addition, you will find an equipment list and directions to the camp.

A $20 deposit is payable upon registration. This deposit will be held by the Director and is designated for purchasing music, strings, rosin, stamps, etc. at the Camp Store. Any money remaining at the end of the week will be refunded at check-out time.

The balance of your tuition is due and should be submitted by May 31. Your balance is $____________.

On behalf of the staff, welcome to the Bay State String Camp! We plan to work hard and have a wonderful musical week!

Sincerely,
