week of intensive class instruction and performance.

The Bay State String Camp
offers students who are serious about playing their instruments a
unique opportunity to join with other students for a week of intense
class instruction and performance. Each camper receives two to five
hours per day of instruction on his/her major instrument in addition
to orchestra and music theory. More advanced students may qualify for
secondary string instrument class, or chamber music. In addition,
swimming and recreational activities are part of the daily schedule.

The camp is staffed by
experienced professional music teachers and performers from the United
States and Canada. They bring to the camp a wealth of expertise and
enthusiasm.

Recreation and waterfront
activities are under the direction and supervision of qualified
specialists.

Medical facilities
include infirmary with a full time nurse and complement of medical
supplies. Also, there is immediate access to emergency and hospital
facilities.

The camp fee is $645.00
for the week. This includes meals, accommodations and tuition.
Students who pay in full by April 30 will receive a 10% discount.

Applications must be
accompanied by a non-refundable $75 deposit. The $570.00 balance of the camp
fee is due on or before May 31. Make checks payable to FASE, Inc. See

Transportation to and
from camp is the responsibility of the parent or guardian of each
camper. Public shuttle and private limousine services are available
from Logan Airport. Please request information if needed.

Applications will be
accepted from students ages 9-17 who have studied a stringed
instrument (violin, viola, cello, bass) for a minimum of one school
year.
